I havent worked out in sooo long. My body was once used to intense workouts and after starting p90x I dont think I can handle even 30 minutes of plyo from not working out in so long.
Is it ok at first to do like 30 mins of each workout everyday to get your body used to the workout? Still using the nutrition guide btw though.

You jumped into the program too soon.

You have two options here, you can either try something easier like power 90 to ease yourself into p90x (which is the way p90x is designed), or take a week or two and workout on your own a little bit to adjust your body to the workouts.

Remember, doing the first thirty minutes and quitting is not an option. You should pace yourself and build up your reps over time until you can keep up with the gang or find your intensity level.

Good luck!

You realize you can modify and don't have to keep up with the guys in the videos. Just press pause a few times and when you're ready to start up again just press play! A lot of people have started that way and worked their way up. Remember, the most important this is don't give up.

do your best and forget the rest. thats all you need to remember.

if your best is only being able to do 30 minutes, then be it. first time i did plyo i was toast after 15 minutes. heck, i was pretty much toast after the warm up. that was the best i could do at the time. the following week, i was able to finish. heavily modified and took a TON of breaks.

Just do your best. After you feel like you cannot do anymore do the first 15 seconds of each exercise. This gives you a bit more time for recovery and builds your stamina. Before long you'll be doing the entire workout.
