Hey guys, I strained my hamstring pretty badly yesterday after plyo, I do flag football on the side and a combo of not warming up plus the cold weather looks like did a number on my left hamstring. Wondering how much of a strain Plyo does to ur hamstrings because Im atleast sitting out the rest of this week to have a chance of hitting it up next tuesday.

Best bet is let it heal, then start over next week. Dont worry about feeling guilty cause 1 week out with a minor injury is better than 2 months out with a major injury.

I even warned you about the cold weather! I said STRETCH STRETCH..
Hope it's not major and it gets better quick. Also might not want to not work out at all. Can sit on the floor and work arms and shoulders or whatnot. Just try not to tweak the leg. Bear p.s. just cortisone it and suck it up. If you tear it you tear it .. Isn't that what the pro'd do?! PLEASE PLEASE take that as a joke and don't try it! |

Bummer...sounds like a lot of pain, so yeah, let it heal a little bit before you go on.
Are you doing all the hamstring stretches? It seems like P90X hits on those a lot. If you aren't doing Stretch X, then I highly recommend it, because a lot of time is devoted to the hamstrings. Yoga also hits on the hamstrings a little, and each day probably has at least some little hamstring stretch. Just really make sure you are stretching that sucker out and warming up before your exercises. |

Lol LuckeyBear its cool man, I take it as a joke, Im not a serious guy at all lol. Yeah Ima just take a week off and hopefully heal it up. So hopefully I'll just be a week late on my January 11th's workout group!
