Hey Everyone,

I just recently got P90X and I had a few questions. I am 17 Years old and a really skinny guy. I am 5' 11" and running at 145 pounds. Can I use P90X as a weight gain program?

Should I be using protein supplements?

Should I be doing P90X in the morning or night? Whats better?

Thanks for all the help

You can, if you're going to follow the nutrition plan though just take an extra shake, eat more lean meat, or drink alot more milk. Some of the other workout sites I've been on support the GOMAD diet (Gallon of Milk a Day, I think it's insane) and have shown good muscle increases with it.

Otherwise, just eat when you're hungry but keep everything clean and with some form of lean protein.

Day or night doesn't matter, just do when you're able to. I personally prefer mornings but I can't. Even Tony just says do it when you can.

You need to eat to gain muscle. A caloric surplus is required to GAIN. P90x will give you a nice base for pursuing your other fitness goals, but it's not really meant for adding mass.

Why don't you just keep going to see how it goes and add calories to help you gain weight?
