Hi guys,

I am now in my second week of P90X and am loving it so far.
I am surprised at how addicting working out is, when i started it quickly became my number one addiction. Which is surprising to me because i was playing World of Warcraft:laugh: .

I am 6 foot tall and weigh 154 lbs with a slight athletic build. I eat healthy overall, lots of veggies and fruits, with an occasional treat (chocolate ).

The first week of P90X was absolutely killing me, i was sore all over. Now i didn't expect it but i really like doing the Yoga workout, it is a treat for my sore muscles.

The only downside i have is that i don't have a pullupbar. Seeing that my parents are giving me a hard time, and wont believe me when i tell them that the door mounted pullupbar wont destroy the doorframe.
I do have resistance bands with a strap for the door.

So i have a question which is:
When i get further in the program, is it enough to keep using resistance bands?
And in what week can i see slight changes in my physique?

Thanks,

I have the same setup with the bands and door anchor (strap) and I'm still finding it challenging in Week 5. I've been increasing the resistance each workout and I'm always making sure that 10 reps is difficult.

As for results, there are a number of forum users that completed the entire 90 days using the setup we have and they had excellent results. Also, in some of the P90x videos, Tony points out the results from some of his crew that only used bands and they're pretty ripped.

My plan is to finish Round 1 with bands/door anchor and then I'm going to do another Round but this time I'll do the weight lifting days at the gym and use their free weights and pull up bar.

You can achieve results with bands. Eventually you will want a pull-up bar though. Nothing beats good old fashioned pull-ups.
