Not sure where this post belongs but this is the most frequented P90X section so...

Guys, I've been on here and doing P90X since late '08. Like many of you P90X has been a life changing experience for me. This board has been a big part of that. The problem is I never actually bought my P90X DVDs. I didn't even borrow them from a friend who did. I downloaded them off the internet. I know I'm not the only one and suspect there are people on here who've done the same kind of thing. I guess it's a don't-ask, don't-tell issue.
Recently it hit me that there was something fundamentally wrong about me reaping SO much from this programme and not having the ones responsible for creating it get their due. Namely, Tony. So, I decided to man up, sent Tony a letter of apology, attached a long overdue cheque and have felt better about myself ever since.
Then yesterday on Tony's blog and Facebook page I saw this: tonyhorton.blogspot.com/2009/08/thanks-ryan.html
To read that felt pretty darn good and it has inspired me to come clean to you all, as well. Who knows, maybe my story will give you something to think about.

i'll follow in your footsteps and own up as well. i kept telling myself, i'll purchase it after my wedding, cuz i was trying to save up. well, now its 1.5 months after my wedding and i've yet to buy it. i'm jumping on the beachbody site now and going to place my order.

how did you ever get Tony's mailing address?? =)

My story exactly! Downloaded the AVIs that were readily available, found the log sheets, and started that way. Felt better physically, but didn't get the results I wanted, and only lost 2 pounds.

It helped me alot, but I felt bad about not purchasing. I man'd up and bought the program for the second round. Two-thirds thru, doing the eating plan, and have lost over 10 pounds.

You absolutely need to follow the entire plan, including nutrition. You won't get this with AVIs.

I hope Tony can forgive me -- one of the best investments I've ever made!

Re the address: Let's just say that Google's a pretty powerful tool.

How do you know if it is a bootleg copy? I bought mine on Ebay, and it was original box, still wrapped. DVDs have the P90X stuff printed on them. It seems like a legit copy to me.

It didn't come with the nutrition plan.

Is my copy legit?

Don't think so. AFAIK the "real" P90X is not sold on Ebay. Anyone know for sure?
