Is everyone still getting sore? I worked out this week giving my all and I hardly get sore. I get mildly sore the next day at night but after a nights sleep the soreness is gone. Is that normal? Is the workout still working or has my body already adapted?

Re:oct 12th group.. 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Well i dont do ab ripper x at all. As far as im concerned my abs are there, just under the fat. I mean, its rock solid under there

which is why this is my week;

Monday; Chest and back
Tues; PLyo (i love this thing for osm ereason, yet everone else hates it?! why?!)
Wednesday; shoulders and arms
Thurs; plyo
fri; legs and back
sat; kenpo
sun; rest or plyo.

So i did knepo x today. I must say i thoroughly enjoyed, i used my punch bag and gloves during it, i got pumped and i brought it hard! I had a good sweat, but overall i wasnt even tired at the end of it. I like it, so im not swapping it like ive done with yoga.

What do you people think about my routine? Is it good for wieght loss?

You should be doing ab ripper even if u have abs. It's gonna burn the fat around ur stomach too and not to mention burning calories. When ever I'm doing abx I sweat alot. How bout try replacing plyo for kempo and strech for yoga. I was at the gym yesterday morning to do back cause it felt the pullups wasn't getting me sore. At noon I did core and right after I did kempox plus. And today I feel like I'm about to die. Woke up feeling weak. Having a large cup of coffee now hopefully I can go though 10 hours of work today. It's kempo day again for me just the normal one not the plus.

To burn more calories I usually try to do 2 videos a day if I feel I have the energy. I can see my body getting ripped already. This is my 24th day. It's a big difference from day 1. I'm already getting my camera really for the day 30 photos. My abs are begining to appear and my tricepts are getting cuts. I'm loving this but it's hard work. Good luck to u guys and in a week I will post my monthly photo here.

Hey all!

Just finished my shoulders & arms workout. Really didnt feel up for it, procrastinated till 9 o clock to do the workout! but 10 minutes in and I was feeling pumped and loving it! Great workout today, arms are pumped and worked up a great sweat. Ab Ripper was great too! I finally was able to do the entire 25 res of fifer scissors! Awesome accomplishment for me! Hope everyone elses workout went well too!

Side note: Cheated a little today on nutrition. For lunch I had a chicken taco from taco bell (i know i know!) hopefully it wasn't too bad. Also snuck in a couple sips (honest) of beer for dinner, dinner was chicken breast with roasted tomatoes, broccoli, and mashed potatoes! yum!

weighed myself today and im already down too 176 lbs! wow 6 lbs in 10 days!

Jepzy it's ok to cheat on ur diet once in a week that's my opinion. I do cheat but in a slightly good way I had like 4 slices of whole wheat bread with shredded pork. It like 600 calories not to mention 2 lowfat icecream bars. I felt so guilty that I did cardio x on top my normal p90x scheuld to burn it off. The more calories u burn the more craving u get especally on sweets. I'm still getting good progress. Just don't make it a everyday habbit if u really want to bring it.

Good job everyone!!

I just got done with Arms & Shoulders too.....Enjoying my recovery drink (chocolate Muscle Milk) right now.

Motivation is there, but sometimes the body isn't feeling it. (it doesn't help that I drove the brown truck for twelve hours today either) The hardest part about the workout is just getting started!! Once the play button is pushed it gets easier!!

Keep up the good work,,,,shower and bed!

I agree with this to. I get so tired after work and do want to excercise. But once I put my DVD in and press play there is no stopping. I get the warm up and the streches boost up our energy. I'm gonna hit the gym after work and do strechx at home. This is my recover week but I'm not stopping on my resistance training.

Re:oct 12th group.. 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
dang koolq76....you do a lot. Props to you. You're doing like double a day...lol...thats crazy...haha...thats inspiring.

I'm not feeling as sore as the first week but I do feel a lil something but nothing compared to the first week. That 1st week was crazy. I'm also not feeling that sore after the ab ripper x but I do sweat a lot during it and get really tired while doing it. I try my best at Ab Ripper X cuz I really want to get a flat stomach. Plyomentrics really worked me yesterday. I sweated so much I was dripping.....love that feeling. I always feel like quitting when im like in the middle of the workouts but I just ignore it. it's all in the mind. I always feel motivated the next day to do it again. I'm not weighting myself till I finish phase 1 (the 4th week). I know I already lost weight cuz I can feel it on my clothes.

Keep up the hard work guys. Stay motivated.

Same here. I feel a bit sore...but nothing like week 1 which had me limping after plyo...(well...you get the idea).

Arms and shoulders was great last night...good workout. Can't guarantee I'll do yoga today (just don't enjoy it....later...but not now for me).

This is something someone wrote at a different p90x forum:

QUOTE:
Yoga X: It is not, NOT possible for one human being to hate ANYTHING any more than I hate yoga. I would sooner run my head through a wall 1000 times, as to do 1 more minute. But I shall continue with it. Get ready to sweat, a lot. The human body isn't meant to do some of this. Most all of the videos are 1 hour long, but yoga is 90 minutes. 90 minutes. How something can be so hard, yet so boring at the same time is beyond me.

I don't know who wrote this but I 100% agree.

I noticed a HUGE increase in my flexibility today. Anybody noticed this?

Sidenote: I really dislike Shoulders and Arm because I have to keep changing the weight over and over again.

If u guy think chest and back is tough wait till u get to phAse 2 when u gotta do one handed pushups and midair clapping pushups. Week 1 to 4 is nothing compare to phase 2. I'm on day 26 now and the next sets of videos will make me beg for mercy.
