Hi, I'm starting p90x soon... I am awaiting delivery on Monday Nov 30.. I'm really excited.
I am looking to tone up and loose weight for a vacation in March.. (just about 90 days away!) I am not an athlete, I am in decent shape because I work hard (farming and gardening)... I know that my body responds well to muscle toning so I have very high expectations for results.... I hope to loose weight (ideally 40-50lbs? anyone else see this result?) I am 32yr old female, 5'5" and 180lbs. I was up to 220, and down to 150.. but need structure to find a lifestyle change to help me find a way to maintain. I look forward to meeting great people and support here.. any points for a beginer? (Oh I'm doing all organic, no sugar, drinking kombucha, etc... also) Hayley |

My tip for you is always come back here for support. When I begin to loose motivation, 10 min on this site and I am ready to go!! |

Well welcome, glad your taking the step to a better lifestyle. You say your doing organic, just make sure your getting enough cause when i was on a organic diet it was hard to get a lot of calories. Make sure to drink at least 120oz of water a day, best thing to help with that is just buy a large water container and carry it around with you, that helps me consume 220oz+ a day. umm dont try to match up the rep count that the 'kids' do in the videos because they have already been through the program, your numbers will get up there with time.
Also, i dont wanna knock bands but in my opinion free weights are a lot better for these type of workouts so your best bet is get something like bowflex select tech 552 or powerblocks for easy switching of weights. If i come up with more tips i will post them for ya. |
