see if you can do 30 to 50 minutes of it. some is better than none.
trust me follow the program. you need that rest /cardio week before you hit those new lifting days. they are much more intense than the previous ones.

I agree. Try to do the first part of Yoga-X...the movement postures. It takes about 50-55 minutes for them. You can always come back later and finish the balance postures, which looks very similar to X-Stretch, later on (runs about 48 minutes).

Having two kids running around is a blessing! Maybe someday soon they'll want to do the workouts with you!

Always take your rest week...don't miss it! Your body needs time to heal and it's a part of the whole process. Those rest weeks will allow your muscles to heal and to get stronger for the next round. Also, many of us have noticed that the rest weeks are still pretty intense and it's when the fat seems to really melt away.

Hope this helps...

Kevin

TAKE YOUR REST WEEK! I just started week 5, and the recovery week was a nice change of pace, plus it's good to rest your muscles.

I also agree about the Yoga. Do as much of the dvd as you can! You can break it up into sections, do the movement section first, then the balance postures, and the end which is Yoga Belly 7, which I myself have skipped several times because of time constraints, and they were also very difficult. I also have 2 kids who demand attention, fortunately they are a little older (10 & 12).
