I havent decided if i want to do this yet, im just workign out what i would still need to get if i do decide to do it.

my question is , ive got one of those iron gym pieces of equipment(the pull up bar you hang in your doorway), but its the one that has the curved bar so you can do pushups and dips on it as well, now would i be able to do that for the pullup part of it, and if anyone else had tried it, do you think it would be able to stand up to haveing the resistance bands attached to it and not fall off

i just figure for the pullup part of it anyway, its a good by pass to people who have no where to put a regular pullup bar, but everyone has a doorway, hopefully the trim is wide enough to support it though

that bar is fine. and i've done that before with the resistance bands. just make sure you're applying the pressure in the right direction.

I have used a doorway pull up bar with bands and had no issues.

I use the Iron Gym for Pullups/chinups and it works ok.

I am a pretty big guy 6'3 and it is kind of limiting because I can't do a really wide pullup and the towel pullups are hard to switch from side to side and I always have to bend my knees or I hit the floor.

If you can afford one and have the space I would go for a taller and wider one.

I unfortunately lack the space so I work around it.
