how far the first time on yoga? 1 Year, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Just did yoga-x for week 1. Man alive, that's a hard one. Honestly, I barely made it 30 minutes before I couldn't do any more. Gonna try for more next week, and planning on being able to do the whole thing before the end of phase 2.

First time people did this workout, how far did you get before you needed a break or had to call it quits?

I only made to the 1 hr to go mark before I practically fell over. The biggest hurdle is not understanding the poses and having to look up when you are in awkward positions. I actually finished the DVD just watching it so I would know what to expect in week 2. I was able to go about 15 minutes further the 2nd time. My goal is to be able to get through the entire DVD by week 4 (which requires 2 Yoga X days!)

I made it about 40 min the first time. As for breaks, take them! I am doing round 2, and if I have to pause, then that's what I do. Better to pause for a few minutes and then continue than stop the routine completely.

Amazingly I made it through the first go round...it was ugly and I fell over quite a bit but I finished haha. Just keep on tryin' so what if it's ugly at least you're doin it, and it can only get better! Good luck!

I was able to make it through the whole tape. It was a struggle with some moves but in general, I did quite well.

Made it through the entire thing and really enjoy it even though my balance was far worse than I expected it to be.
