Hello? Is anyone there? Doesn't look like much is happening around here anymore...
Things are finally getting back to normal for me. I tried to get back into the routine, but it's been a rough month since the wedding. I got lazy then my sciatica kicked in & I had to take some time off. Soooo, I'm trying to really push myself this week. I forgot how difficult Plyo is...I was struggling.

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well.

Hi Jess and all other gun folks,

I am still working out and training for triathlons. In fact, I am doing the Tin Man this Sunday.

Anyway, since I finished 2 rounds of P90X, I have modified my workouts to accommodate my tri-training. I still strength train and often use P90X workouts or parts of P90X workouts. I also added some old school lifting to the mix. My triathlon training does a heck of a job with my cardio conditioning! So with my triathlon training and my strength training I am getting a pretty good fitness package.

I still post my workouts daily on my site (http://www.projectexercise.com) so you can follow along if you wish.

I am overdue to make and youtube update video. Maybe I will do that in the next couple days.

Ok, take care and keep brining it!!!

Welcome back, Jess! Hope your wedding and honeymoon were wonderful.
I have been in and continue to be in an emotional hell, so I have not worked out in close to 3 weeks. I haven't been eating right either, all that nasty food that Tony likes to talk about. Currently, my lower back feels like I've been hit by a tire iron, so even if I wanted to work out, it wouldn't happen. I have fallen so far off the wagon it's going to take an act of God to get me back on it again.

Well, this gunner not only fell off the wagon but got run over by it. I had MAJOR family issues and I just lost interest in everything, including working out. Tried to drown my misery in pints of coffee flavored Haagan Daaz ice cream. Needless to say, the only thing that drowned was 6 months of hard work. I gained it ALL back plus some and was totally disgusted with myself. My clothes didn't fit (and still don't), I had the muffin top from hell, and my feet were going bad from the extra weight.
I started about a month ago beginning to build up to a P90x re-start. I ran some, walked some, biked some and did Jillian Michaels videos. That little woman will run your butt into the ground in only 30 min, let me tell ya! I was not seeing results like I wanted and knew that the only way I was going to get my body back was Tony Horton. I cut short my 2 month prep work and started P90x on Monday. I'm going a tad easy on the weights to start with, just 10's for now (this time last year I was using 12 and 15) and being careful not to get hurt. I can definitely tell that it's been awhile since I've had my butt good and kicked by Tony, but I already feel tons better after only a week. I missed that familiar soreness that comes with P90x and forgot how nice it is to walk around with sore, aching muscles, knowing that you did something.
My son, who at 15 is all of 115 lbs dripping wet, is doing it with me and "our" goal is for him to have a 6 pack by the end. Considering he has very little body fat, it's a reasonable goal for him.
I realize that this is a novel, but hey...you asked...lol.

I just restarted last Monday!! I'm down 4 pounds in 5 days & I can't believe the muscle memory already. I'm excited to stay in touch with you guys again. I also can't believe how much easier the workouts are this time around. I've been working out since last year, but I just decided I really wanted to get in great shape again.
