What did you think about the "Divebomber"? That one kicked my butt along with the diamond push ups.

I couldn't do a divebomber push up until week 3 and even then I felt like I was going to fall on my head every time. With push ups, I've just learned to take it slow and do what you can. It's amazing how resilient the human body is to adapting to new things. You'll find yourself getting stronger. If only I could do Diamond and one arm pushups . . .

I love divebomber pushups, i've been doing mma for years and my muy thai coach always called them hindu pushups... wonder if they changed the name for P/C reasons or if thats what they called them originally? Anyway, i was only able to get 9 on the first run and 10 on the second round. as far as arm burnout, only my left arm on the inside of my elbow is sore.

We did the divebombers in judo, but we called them judo push ups haha. I guess they go by many names. I have less trouble with these than the diamond push ups.

I am finding myself much more sore my second week than my first. I think only using the bands for pull ups the first week really helped ease me into it. This week though - oh man. Felt awesome to be doing real pull ups though. I can't wait to be cranking them out. Occasionally the Marines recruiters will be out at the nearby university doing a pull ups contest as an advertising tool. I can't wait to go this year and try to win myself a free t-shirt haha.

jmunoz87 - you could try using dumbbells if they have the hexagon shaped ones instead of the round ones.

I am using push up bars to take the pressure off the wrists. I have tendon issues in my right wrist...from doing pushups over the years. Your first day sounds like mine. I damn near puked and had to go back to bed for a couple of hours. Ain't it great?! Doesn't get any easier...just more tolerable. I love it! Wait to you start seeing the results! That will be motivation enough to keep pushing it.

Thank you for the feedback, support and advice.
I went into day 2 with a really anxious posture because it is touted as the MOTHER of ALL P90X workouts.........NOPE!!!! it was very hard, but i did really really well during the hour workout...........I loved that one, I really accomplished something that spooked me and it felt so good to do that.
I feel so many groups of muscles that are not necessarily SORE, but they are touchy and I am stiff...........that means I am working!!!!!
I honestly, endorse, love support P90X...........I am still in the honeymoon phase, and I know I will have days that are going to be nothing other than challenging ( you have to keep: family, work, monkeys on your back right out of your mind if you are going to Bring it, that will be my biggest challenge moving forward.
