man........I sucked, big time, couldnt do many reps at all, but, I dont care, I stayed with it, did all the Chest, Back and ab exercises.....very few reps mind you, but, I did the Best I Can and forget about the rest montra...............I used a small wooden bench to allow me to continue with the chins.........was really pathetic at the diamond pushes, but damn good at the lawnmower and flys.....looking forward to the improvement.........PUsh on.

Hey guys, keep up the good work, the first week is filled with muscle soreness until you get to day 4, Yoga X. Yoga will stretch you out and for me, it got rid of 80% of the soreness until Week 2, day one started again.

I just finished week 6 day 3 and I'm sore all over again. Muscle confusion to the max. Keep pushing play, the results will come!

My first week was painful. But after that, the pain seemed to go away.

What did you think about the "Divebomber"? That one kicked my butt along with the diamond push ups.

The biggest thing that happens, and it happens to everyone regardless on how many times you tell them, is arm burnout.

It doesn't matter how many times you tell someone to pace themselves, they will complete slaughter their arms on day 1 chest/back. Then you see posts about "WOW WHAT DID I DO," haha. Don't worry, I did it too, and everyone else.

First set of standards you start going, and say to yourself "this is easy!" and crank out maybe 20-30 pushups. Then when military comes, you do a little less. Wides you do a little less. Diamonds you do a lot less. Divebombers you do less. "reeeepeat thaaaat!" and your arms just go..."no, I don't think so." Reps just go down the toilet and you struggle with EVERYTHING after that point.

Unless you have someone in the room with you who has done the program before, 9 times out of 10, the above situation will happen. Since you are new, you don't know how to X-pace yourself.

Ab ripper is the same way. Some people will be smart and take the advice of doing only 10 reps all the way through on day 1, but most will crank out all 25 in-and-outs, half the bicycles, and then start floppin around on scissors and pulse-ups.

Now, the pain will set in but you have to BRING IT. Don't skip days thinking it will help your muscles. The absolute worst thing you can do for your sore muscles is to let them stay stiff and not use them. Do lots of balistic stretching, and get them warmed up. Trust me, once the sore arms are warmed up, you will barely even notice they are sore.
