About to start day 1. Do you do chest & back then ab ripper x immediatetly after or do the abs later that day? I really could not find the answer in the booklet.

i always do ab ripper right after the work out. My first week i had to pause to complete 25 reps on everything.. now on week 11 i dont understand why i had to.. haha

I usually do it right after. Some others do it at a different time of the day so that they can get a better ab workout. The ARX routine is immediately after the regular resistance routine on the DVD, as well as on a separate DVD, so you can choose which way you want to do it.

I personally recommend not doing it after your workout. Reason being is you are more able to really bring it if you do it in the morning or a hour or two after the routine. I got much better results once I separated it from the regular workout because I was better able to really bring it hard. Plsu it makes for one long workout if you connect it to the end! But really the mporant thing is to get it done!

I do it immediately after. The muscles are already warmed up, your heart rate is already somewhat elevated, so it makes sense. But the other posters are right - you are already pretty darn tired when you get to the ARX portion.

Funny...I now look forward to ARX, whereas in the first month I dreaded it.
