I would do only the ones that do not give you back pain, with extra reps, and slowly add in exercise by exercise the ones that bother you. Fifer Scissors are the ones that bother my back the most. Skip them next time. Do you notice a problem with the first four? Heels to Heaven probably is probably fine too, also v-obliques, and Mason Twists. I would do the following, then add the others in as you feel comfortable:
In-outs Bicycle Reverse Bicycle Crunchy Frog The first lower-ab one, with the knees out, soles touching Heels to Heaven V-obliques Leg climbs Mason Twists |

Everyone's body reacts differently to exercise. Some have more of an established core before they begin the program. A reason you have back pain in your lower back( I get it too, and I just finished week 2)
is your core is not established yet so it is going to put strain on your lower back. Just stay within your boundaries and keep plugging away. Out of the 25 reps for the exercise, If I can't keep up with/my lower back is dying, I do 10 reps and then rest a few seconds, then do 5 to 10 more reps. I've noticed on the second week I'm getting a little better. Just do what you can and don't strain yourself! You'll get there. |
