I'm 44...
I love p90x! Definition is coming slowly, but I am really happy with the results. I am on my second round, having completed the Classic version. Now I am on the Lean version. Good luck! If you have any questions, drop me a note! And have fun "BRINGING IT"!!! |

I'm 45 and about to finish week 3. So far so good. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and take it one day at a time and you'll get there. Good luck.

Hi,
I am 52 and will finish my second round of P90X on Xmas Eve. I was not in real bad shape when I started but I was not in good shape either. I will start P90X+ in January. I would be glad to help in any way I can. Through these forums there is a lot of information that is very beneficial to those just starting out. I wish I knew about them when I started. Aside from a few sore muscles in the beginning, it is an amazing change for the better. I think you will find that most agree that it is life changing on so many levels. I wish you the best of luck. |

Thanks everyone for responding to my post. I feel more confident I can do it...Going to push myself through it and do my best. The only movement that I will struggle with from what I can will be pull ups as they bother my shoulders, but I have bands so will sub as I see fit.
I will be starting the program on 1/4/2010..SO BRING IT!!! |

I'm going to be 42 in a couple weeks. I'm not in great shape at all. A couple months ago I did the first thirty days of p90x, then hurt my back. I did fine. It's tough, but I worked at my own pace and got through everything. I will say that having a heart rate monitor for the cario workouts was very helpful for me. Kept me working hard enough, but not overdoing it. I'm healthy again and going to start back up Jan. 4th. I can't wait.

I am 40 years old and I have been debating on whether to try the program. It looks really tough and is perhaps meant for hard core fitness freaks.
As a beginner I would start off with something simple that I can do at my own pace (something as simple as walking) and then train towards more challenging programs. But if you can do it, why not? Good luck. |
