Unlike standard walking games that require people to walk in place while they look at a TV screen, the VirtuSphere lets people take a walk through the streets of Moscow. They can see the sights as they stroll along in the VirtuSphere. Developers claim there is no limit to the games they can create for the VirtuSphere, and they expect the VirtuSphere will be a major player in gaming within the next several years.

VirtuSphere Cost

Even as developers are getting excited about the VirtuSphere, some consumers can’t help but be taken aback by the price tag. At a cost between $50,000 and $100,000, the VirtuSphere will not be seen in many homes. That does not mean that this gadget is not available for regular people, though. The device is in the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas, and the manufacturer hopes to install the products in arcades, fitness centers, malls and more hotels. Because of that, the hefty price tag will not deflate the product’s popularity.

The VirtuSphere has a large target market. From gamers who want to jump into the action to people who want to lose a few pounds by taking a virtual stroll, this product promises to be one of the hottest of the 21^st century.
