I like to start off with my weight even though P90X is much more about being fit than strictly losing weight, that is just a nice by product. So my weight after week 5 is 222.5, which is down 11 pounds from my high. Another way to think about it is over two pounds a week which is the realistic world of what many say of losing 1.5 pounds a week since just this alone would require an adjustment of approximately 4,500 calories LESS than before or burning 4,500 MORE calories. I'm somewhere in between.
This was also my last week of doing low-carb, and I am glad. Since I thought I had a little less energy this week. But it did work in jump starting the weight loss.
So I also have some P90X Before and After pictures for Day One versus Day Thirty. Read (and look) on..

P90X Day One Before (day 1) / After PIctures (day 30)
Here are my pictures, for 30 days it's a nice difference but a long ways to go.
I really notice it in the flex poses and side pose, not so much from the front pose. What do you think?
P90X Days 29 Through 42
I first need to apologize in that I have lumped two weeks of P90X into one blog post. Things have been so hectic! I guess the good news is I have not missed a SINGLE workout! I thought this week I'd post a little differently and have two columns. A column for my favorite to least favorite P90X Phase II workouts and a column for those that are hardest to easiest. I thought after week 7 I could repost that and see if it changed since after week 7 I will be going into recovery week again.
| P90X Phase 2 - Favorite to Least Favorite | P90X Phase 2 - Hardest to Easiest |
| Chest /Shoulders / Triceps - I get really sore from this and love it! Good pump too! | Legs/Back - Really tough on me for some reason |
| Back / Bicep - Great Bicep workout, a bit fatigured for back because of the that. | Plyometrics - Definitely close to hardest p90x workout |
| KenpoX - Just a real nice cardio workout | Back/Bicep - Because of the bicep/forearm fatigue back is rough |
| Plyometrics - A much harder cardio workout, but a good one! | YogaX - I don't get winded but I struggle with balance and some core strength on a few. |
| YogaX - Still not one of my favorites, but not at the bottom anymore! | Chest/Shoulders/Tri - Not very good at endurance on pushups |
| Legs/Back - Just not a fan of the way legs are done. Always winded on this one. | KenpoX - By far the easiest for me. |
The workouts continue to go well and look forward to giving you a thorough Phase II wrapup before recovery week next time I post!
