I once again am a bit tardy on my P90X blogging, my apologies. As I type this up it is day 60, which means I will be taking pictures later today. I am expecting to see some nice changes, so stay tuned. You can see my day 1 and day 30 p90x before and after pictures here. I am one hundred percent convinced that I have improved over the day 30 pictures. I also really need to make these pictures side-by-side. It is kinda hard to see now since you can only see one picture at a time. Sorry! My weight after PHASE II and 8 weeks of p90x is 220 pounds. I am quite happy with that and I should mention my size 36 inch waist pants are falling off and I require a belt now. They were tight before p90x, so thats a great feeling. Now to get back into 34 inch pants. As a recap, I am 6'3" and was 233 pounds when I started. So 13 pounds lost in 8 weeks puts me right about at the expected amount of 1.5 pounds a week. I also have definitely packed on some muscle mass to boot! See all my other P90x blog entries.
I know I said I'd redo my favorite and hardest p90x phase II exercises in this post but it really has not changed much so I thought I'd give a Phase One vs Phase II comparison from my perspective now that I have done both. This obviously isn't for p90x recovery week in each phase as they are the same routines.

P90x Phase II
Comments
Chest and Back
Chest, Shoulders, Triceps
While the Phase II workout is a more traditional workout of push muscles I like the Phase I workout better. The Phase I is a bit faster paced and for some reason I get a better chest and back workout this way. My guess is less fatigue as I am working just chest and just back and not the complimentery muscles that go with it.
Plyometrics
Plyometrics
No dfference between Phase I & II as the previous workout does not focus on legs, which plyo does.
Shoulders and Arms
Back and Biceps
These are both really good workouts and love them both. Nothing else to say, except look at the next days workout, because I do feel it impacts that.
YogaX
YogaX
This workout is impacted, for me, in Phase I as my shoulders and triceps and biceps are all fatigued and sore still. YogaX has quite a few poses like Downward Dog, Upward Dog and even things like the warrior poses and table poses. I just feel I am fresher and have a better YogaX workout in Phase Two because of this.
Legs and Back
Legs and Back
Same workout, and no impact from previous or next day workout in either phase and still one of the hardest and least favorite p90x workouts for me!
KenpoX
KenpoX
Same workout in both phases one and two of p90x and still one I really enjoy!
So there you have a wrap up, I really liked Phase II but I'd say I like Phase I a bit better, just my personal taste. Please do see my next blog post for my day 60 pictures!
