Four Pounds in One Week I assumed last week was a temporary plateau and I was right. I can lose weight fast when I set my mind to it and I lose four pounds in one week. Not bad is it? So how did I do it? I didn't do anything real special I just kept at my weight loss plan and exercise plan, I have been doing a lot of weight loss reviews and exercise reviews since opening this website in October 2007 and a few things I have learned are consistently answered: Persevere through down times; Exercise hard; Drink lots of water; Avoid fatty foods; eat 5-6 small meals a day. You do these things and you will have fast weight loss too. But enough of cheerleading speech and lets get down to the nitty gritty. What did I do this week for my diet and fitness? Let's take a look below. If you have not read my previous journal entries I encourage you to begin from the beginning in my personal weight loss blog .
Exercises Day 43 through 49This was an unusually active week for me for exercise and I truly believe that helped me lose weight fast. - On Sunday I did my normal one hour work out of 30 minutes on the incumbent bike at resistance level 5. Then a few more pushups with the perfect pushup bar of 12,10,8, and 6 repititons. Then two sets of 10 bicep curls.
- On Wednesday I had two workouts. The first was one hour of basketball at my daughters school for staff versus graduating 8th grade class. Which we lost the game by the way.
- Then two hours later I played tennis for two hours.
- This Saturday I played another two hours of tennis.
This gave me a total of six hours of work out this week. While I didn't get as much time doing strength training I definitely got plenty of cardio. Diet Day 43 through 49 My diet was almost the same as every other week but I definitely avoided before bed snacks. I was happy with how I did this week. I also didn't force myself to eat the snacks at a specific time or at all if I wasn't hungry. In previous weeks I would eat the snacks regardless of how hungry I felt. Maybe that was a mistake? Now I eat the snack if I am hungry only. I think this made a difference as I think I ate less and my body was not hungry. At last it never complained to me that it was! Looking forward to next week I don't plan on doing anything special this week. Everything seems to be working as is. If I don't do tennis due to weather or no one to play with I do my one hour home workout. I sure do enjoy being out on the courts a lot more then in my basement but I do miss the strength training. I don't miss the incumbent bike!
