VCUT As Seen on TV - Fit or Fiction?

Introduction

Will the VCUT let you lose weight, gain muscle in 3 10 minute workouts a week?  The VCUT informercial and website claims this.  Is this too good to be true?  It is very rare that you will find a factual error in a well-marketed online fitness product, but by the same token this does not mean that you’re being told the entire truth.  That is certainly the case both with the infomercial and with the textual information that you find on the website for the VCUT exercise equipment.

VCUT can help you get fit

Before we take a look at some of the drawbacks of the VCUT device, it is important that those drawbacks are taken within the proper context.  In the overall context of actually evaluating this device, it is most certainly true that the device will work for you.  This is true because we know that both push-ups and reverse push-ups can work for people and it is also true based on user testimonials for the device after the purchase has been made. We have covered on this website how pushups and pull ups can be some of the best exercise you can do .  Just do you need this exercise equipment to do it?

Harder than expected

Do not make the mistake of thinking that the VCUT is the easy way out.  It is marketed very much in that manner, but if you stop for a moment and think about the two exercises that you will be doing, the VCUT is obviously going to be a bit more difficult than the average fitness workout.  If you spend all of your time doing the push-up motions, what you will discover is that you are actually carrying out an intense workout.  The people that have had the best results with the VCUT are people that were able to throw themselves fully into this workout regimen and give it everything that they had.

Not an entire body workout in every sense of the term

On their website, the VCUT device is billed as being an excellent fitness equipment piece that allows for a full body workout.  At the same time though, the VCUT exercise equipment is not really a full body workout in the classical sense of the term.  It mainly focuses on your core muscles and then has some secondary effect on the muscles that are named on the website such as your arm and leg muscles.

However, this is not really the same thing as working your entire body.  The plank on your forward half is an exercise that will not have the same effect as something like a bicep curl or an arm extension.  There is a difference between multipurpose exercises that are good in a general sense and specifically good exercises that give you benefits to the max in certain areas of the body.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the VCUT exercise equipment is one that will be effective.  It will give you what you need in terms of fitness equipment help to succeed.  That being said, you really do have to put in the time to make this work.  Even after it does work, you will also likely want to transition to a set of arm and leg specific exercises to tone those parts of your body further.  In conclusion, this is a good piece of fitness equipment, but it is far from what it claims to be.

  1. I recently received my VCUT in the mail and have been using it as directed for the past few weeks. You're right - it absolutely targets the muscles it says it does and I feel noticeably stronger already. The only disagreement I have from your article is about the legs. I find that with the reverse pushups, my hamstrings and butt really get in on the action as well. The only thing I feel this machine is lacking is the cardio aspect I need to get the full spectrum of fitness I'm looking for. It doesn't replace every single machine in a gym, but it does a hell of a lot for me and I can always get my cardio in with my normal runs. Good review!
