The Flex Belt vs. Slendertone System Abs Comparison

The Flex Belt and Slendertone System Abs are two very similar devices that are designed to strengthen, tone, and firm your core muscles.  Because of their similarities, we have compiled information that will help you decipher the differences between the two, as well as which one will benefit you now and in the future.  The reason these two are so similar is that they were created by the same manufacturer; however, they are not sold by the same company.

You can read our full flex belt reviews for more detail.

The Flex Belt Abdominal Toning Belt Overview

The Flex Belt is a device that uses Electronic Muscle Stimulation (EMS) to contract and relax your stomach muscles.  Gel pads are medical grade devices that are coated to adhere to your skin.  They help the belt conduct the impulses to your muscles.  Your stomach muscles contract by tensing for a few seconds and then they are relaxed.  You can change the intensity level from 1 to 150, which is an excellent feature for those who are already at an advanced fitness level.

The Flex Belt has been cleared by the FDA and has undergone multiple 3rd party clinical tests for effectiveness and safety.   Not only does the belt work where you place it on your stomach, it will work even further as the pulses will travel your nerves to get deep within your muscles outside of the range of the belt.

Consumers also love the Flex Belt for its flexibility.  It can be worn while you are doing almost anything you want, such as biking, reading a book, driving a car, or watching television.  Getting a workout while you are watching television is a major plus to most consumers.

The Slendertone System Abs has been cleared by the FDA.  It has been proven to be a safe and effective way to work your abs.  Consumers love the flexibility of the Slendertone System Abs.

The Bottom Line – Do these Products Really Work?

Both the Flex Belt and Slendertone System Abs definitely work.  They have both been cleared by the FDA for their effectiveness and safety, and consumers have given them both highly favorable reviews.  They are manufactured by the same company, Slendertone, which is a highly respectable company.

While the concepts behind the belts are virtually the same, the Flex Belt outperforms the Slendertone System Abs in its intensity levels.  The Flex Belt’s intensity level ranges from 1 to 150, while the Slendertone only ranges from 1 to 99.  This is very important if you wish to keep progressing.

At some point, the Slendertone System Abs will no longer be effective because the intensity will cease.  If you wish to continue progressing, the Flex Belt is a better choice.  If you have extra fat on your stomach, you will reach the 99 rather quickly.  This is because the fat makes the muscles harder to reach, and people tend to increase the intensity because they do not feel it through their fat.  If you do not have a lot of fat, it is possible that you will not reach the 99 level as quickly.

The Flex Belt and Slendertone System Abs are the two best abs belts available on the market today.  Consumers love both of these belts.  It really comes down to the intensity level and where you are in your fitness level, as to which one will benefit you best.   However, most people feel that the extra $50 they spend for the Flex Belt is worth purchasing for the extra intensity to ensure they can use for years to come.
