The Flex Belt Abdominal Toning Belt Overview
The Flex Belt is the first EMS (electronic muscle stimulation) device available that has been cleared by the FDA. While approval from the FDA is not a requirement, it shows the company believes in its product enough to get that extra “seal of approval” to share with its consumers.
This device is one of the most flexible workout devices available today. All you have to do is wrap it around your waist, turn on the machine, and choose your intensity level. Once you have it on, you can go about your day doing whatever it is you love to do. Imagine, working out while you are driving your car or reading a book.
The electronic muscle stimulation contracts and releases your stomach muscles even better than traditional abdominal exercises, such as crunches. Why is this? Crunches only reach the surface of your muscles, while the Flex Belt can reach muscles deep within.
The Flex Belt has not only undergone extensive testing by the manufacturers, it has also had many 3rd party clinical tests conducted. These tests have produced outstanding results.
The Ab Roller Overview
This piece of workout equipment has been around for many years. Its main purpose is to strengthen your core muscles, without putting a strain on your neck. The Ab Roller has a curved metal frame with a cross bar that is used as a head rest.
The concept of the Ab Roller is to develop strong core muscles while you roll back and forth. You would lie on the floor with your head on the padded head rest. You will put your hands on the top section of the frame and start rocking back and forth. This motion will crunch your abs without putting stress on your head and neck.

The Bottom Line – Do these Products Really Work?
The Ab Roller and Flex Belt are both designed to work your abs, and they both do work your abs to an extent. The Flex Belt does exactly what it says it will do. This is because it can reach deep into your stomach muscles; therefore, working your abs as much or as little as you need because of the large range of intensity you can choose from, which ranges from 1 to 150. The Ab Roller does work your abs; however, because it is basically a crunch it can only reach the surface of your stomach muscles.
While the decision is ultimately yours, consumers tend to favor the Flex Belt. It is not as bulky, does more than just a traditional crunch, and you don’t have to physically exercise to get a full abs workout.
