What makes JackRack Unique?

The concept behind this fitness unit is its turn and burn technology. The Jack Rack allows you to move from one major muscle group to another resulting in calorie burning and muscle building. You can adjust the unit to your fitness level by lowering, raising, twisting, and/or flipping the grips.

Performing these exercises in slightly different angles causes your muscles to work a little harder allowing your body to burn those calories quickly, while also increasing muscle strength. You can expect results in as little as 15 minutes per day; however, expect to work extremely hard during these 15 minutes.

JackRack vs. The Rack Workout

You can read a full review of the rack workout here, but our comparison shows these two workout programs are similar in many aspects. Both work based on how fast you can work the major muscle groups on one single unit. The Jack Rack seems to be more tailored to your personal fitness needs since you can adjust the unit based on your fitness level.

The Jack Rack does seem to be more comfortable because of its padded bar set. The routines are shorter with the Jack Rack; however, The Rack workouts do not go over 30 minutes. With The Rack, you have to pick up the entire unit when trying to use as a weight bar. With the Jack Rack, you only have to pick up the actual bar. The Jack Rack also allows you to take the hand grips off and add the weight plates to them to be used individually apart from the actual unit.

JackRack Program

There are four DVDs and a nutrition plan included with the unit created by internationally known fitness expert, Jim Stoppani, PhD. Here are some details about each individual DVD:

Jack Rack Advanced Muscle Building Program

The goal for this program is to focus on each specific muscle group to build muscle size and strength. This program enhances fat burning during and after the workout. This routine uses supersets and tri-sets as high-intensity techniques to help you advance to the next level of fitness.

Jack Rack Advanced Fat Burning Program

This is a full body training routine (arms, shoulders, legs, and abs) that is performed three times a week with one day of rest in between each workout. It targets three different muscle groups. You will train each muscle group twice before moving on to the next muscle group. This training technique will help you to build leaner muscles. The challenge here is to be able to transfer from one exercise to the next with very little rest in between.

Jack Rack Beginner Program

This program is designed for those are not used to a regular workout routine. It introduces exercise, in general, to the beginner. You will only have to work out three days a week. The focus for this program is to help achieve balance and overall body strength. Once you have mastered this DVD, you will be ready to move to the advanced levels of this program.

Jack Rack 50 Body Shredding Exercises

This DVD basically shows you how to perform 50 different exercises with the unit. The exercises are categorized by major muscle group. You can actually create your own workout routines. Creating your own combinations of exercises will prevent boredom and keep you motivated to continue working out.

Jack Rack Nutrition Plan

This nutrition plan is to be used in conjunction with your eight-week training program. It is designed to shed body fat and build lean muscle. In order to achieve this, you will have to consume enough protein with moderate amounts of fat. Carbs are addressed in this diet, as well. Some days you will be allowed higher amounts of carbohydrates, while other days will have more restrictions. As a motivator, the diet allows you to eat your favorite food once a week.

Bottom Line

The Jack Rack does have a full program addressing diet and exercise, which is important for weight loss and overall health. The beginner DVD is an excellent addition to the package, allowing people who are not at an advanced level to progress to the advanced level. With the 30 day $14.95 trial offer, this unit may be worth giving a try.

  1. I ordered my jack rack exactly 30 days ago and received it yesterday. However on one part that had already come assembled there is a defect. It is the part where u push the stabilizing pins through so the unit stay in place during your workout. My pin hit the main vertical bar and cannot push through but I took off the plastic I guess you woul call it a shoe which is there for cosmetic purposes and the pin pushed through. So it looks like a piece missing. Then I begin a workout and one of the grips I found out after almost snapping my wrist that the quick release system is defective. It doesn't catch like it supposed to. I think the quick release system should be replaced with a more sturdy pin cause in time they will give and you will need replacement parts. Called jack rack and someone will get back to me within 24-48 hours. For a defective part really? However with those flaws I think it's honna be a great system if I can get one that works. I can care Less about the cosmetics of it I just wanna workout!
  2. Got my jackrack in two parts. i can really feel my muscles working on this machine. im way excited to start seeing results in a few months. ive always been good at following home video instructions so this was my perfect purchase.
  3. Rob did you ever get box #2? We ordered ours in dec 2011 and we are still waiting....
  4. What a joke, ordered in Mid-December and it's supposed to arrive in 4-6 weeks. I still haven't received it and last time i spoke with someone there (I had to insist on speaking to a supervisor to get an answer) they will not be in stock for another 4-6 weeks. They provide no updates and really have no idea when their manufacturer will ship the next round of equipment. Go elsewhere for your fitness equipment. Chuck, you should reconsider what products you put your name on.
  5. Ok, I'm so tired of people bit@#*ng about the "trial price"! Seriously! If you really think you can get what basically amounts to a full home gym for $15, you have no business trying to order things off of TV or the web! The "the ad said it was only $14.99, but when I ordered it, it was a lot more" whine is really dumb. If you can't understand what "trial offer" means, or aren't willing to do a little research, stop trying to buy things from TV! You don't hafta be Einstein's smarter sibling to figure this out, it's not rocket science. So far, the only complaint I've seen is the unacceptably long wait time to receive the actual unit. Hopefully, they're working on that. I'm waiting patiently and I post a full review when I get mine.
  6. The TV advertisement of 14.99 is misleading with no mention of the actual cost of $400 plus. After finding out the details from the web and reading the reviews, I think this is not worth it.
  7. I ordered the Jack Rack July 10, by September 21 they never offered a email call or anything to explain the delay, I had to contact them. December they charged my CC and on the 19th I received the pad kit in a box marked 1 of 2. I never received box 2 of 2. I called to ask what the other tracking number was, they say they shipped everything and they only have one tracking number, FedEx says they don't use the same tracking number on more than one box. I feel I got jack'd alright. Ill wait a few more weeks for the other half to show up before disputing the CC charges and then I will contact the BBB and the Attorney General's Office to file complaints.
