Breakdown of The Ab Doer Twist

The machine itself is made up of a seat with comfortable cushion, highly flexible column, a roller instead of a back cushion and twisted arm bar. Each component provides an advantage. The cushion allows comfortable seating so users will not feel tired immediately. The flexible column allows users to twist and move which is a requirement for better abs using the machine. The twisted arm bar allow easy handling so users can simply concentrate in moving their body and control will be a lot easier. The roller in the back is used as a massager that provides support while in use.

Resistance  Control

Under the machine is the resistance controller just below the cushion which is used to control the flexible column. Users can set the strength of resistance as they see fit. With this feature, almost anyone can use the machine. Those who have trouble twisting the column can easily reduce the resistance and start their exercises.

What comes With The Ab Doer Twist?

The exercise machine comes with two additional products: an instructional DVD and a booklet with recommended recipes. The DVD is very important since this contains actual exercises that can be done with the machine to gain the abs users wanted. The additional booklet is also useful since it’s a perfect supplement in controlling calories while reaching the your preferred body.

Any Reasons to NOT Get the Ab Doer Twist?

While Ab Doer may look like a great exercise machine, it does have some limitations. As the name and program suggests, this exercise machine is only meant for the abs. But getting better abs doesn’t immediately happen when you work on the abs alone. You need to work on your entire body before you start noticing the development in your abs. Another challenge to this product is its actual efficiency on weight loss. Although it could be very impressive because of the twists, the exercise machine ultimately looks like an aerobic exercise machine. Unless you complement the Ab Doer with another workout program, the developed abs will not be there.

Should You Get The Ab Doer Twist?

But this doesn’t mean Ab Doer Twist is a bad product. It’s still a great exercise machine. The additional instructional DVD explains how a person can take full advantage of the Ab Doer. The machine’s design is also impressive and it’s made of strong materials so it should work for a very long time. The only downside is its limitation on the abs but should be effective if the machine is used along with other exercise program.

Last but not the least; the product comes with a 30-day money back guarantee. This means you can try out the product for a couple of weeks and see if it will foster improvements in your body

 1. I bought the ab doer 2 months ago and I have already lost 2 inches off my waist. I bought the product cause I have a really bad back . I was in a car accident last year and have been doing physio ever since, the physiotherapist approved that I buy the machine because it helps keep my back flexible without the weight of my body when I am lying down and doing crunches or sit ups. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone suffering from back pain. It not a gimmick and yes its a little pricy buts its an actual ab machine that does work.
 2. Thanks guys I was gonna buy it but wont now. Thanks for saving me money
 3. Thanks to everyone who blasted the Abdoer, thereby saving me some serious money. Really, what did people do before the internet, just bought a lot of useless crap I guess.
 4. I am 58 years old and in good shape for most of my life. Bought my Abdoer April 24th and now June 15 I have alredy lost 2 inches waist and 8 pounds. I do 3 sets a day beginner level. If the chair breaks i will simply by another one. It works for me... A guy who has been active all his life but has a bad back. So we could go one forever with these negative comments about this product but this will have no effect on your health. If you have bad health or have never exercised in a period of your life... Dont expect miracles from this chair. You have to be constant and persistant with this Abdoer and most of all have a good diet. No pain no gain... B
 5. I seen the advertisement and thought i can do this....Little did i know that my husband and I would loose our jobs and would not be able to afford to do the monthly payments right now. I called and they told me i could return the product and gave me a return code. When i went to the post office they said it would be $182.00 or $97.50 to ship the product back, well hell if i could afford that i could afford to keep the damn thing. So now i am stuck with something i can't afford and the customer service or managers dont' give 2 shits.
 6. thank you all for your comments and experiences. I was tempted to call for one, as I am really lazy by nature. It seemed like an easy way to lose my tummyfat. Well, I guess I'll just get my bike.
 7. Lose weight without buying ANYTHING! Change your eating habits. Read labels and eat actual serving sizes instead of eating way more than needed. Then get up and WALK. You do this you WILL lose weight Guaranteed and all without having to purchase some worthless exercise machine or joining a gym or buying diet pills.
 8. i appreciate these reviews. I will not waste my money now. I looked on ebay and there are probably 100 for sale by individuals!
 9. I purchased this after watching an infomercial. I tried to return it in what I thought was the 30 day period, only to find out that the 30 DAY TRIAL starts the day they SHIP it! It takes nearly 2 weeks to receive it, which means you REALLY get a 10 DAY TRIAL at most. I wish I had read the complaints BEFORE I ordered. Just goes to show you really need to ask the right questions or better yet, avoid companies like THANE, INC.
 10. this was a waste of money if you want abs go to the gym and do the workouts and cardio dont buy stuff you see on tv casue you will get no where!!!! i bought this and it wasent working for me i dident feel it anywhere but my arms and lost nothing went to the gym and lost 52 pounds
 11. Abdoer Twist Doesnt Work!!!!!!!!!! My name is Lauren and i was overweight i weighed 227 and i was depressed that i let myself get that way and i was ashamed so i turned on the tv and saw abdoer twist. I ordered it began my workout and healthy meal plan that came with the program. I worked out twice a day on the ab-doer twist and at the end of the 30 day trial i did my final weigh in and i had only lost 2 pounds!!!!! I was so discouraged and i sent it back what they told me was i have to pay for the shipping i ended up paying $47.95!!!! When you first talk to the 1800 sales people they say to send it back call us back and we will send you a return order paper and they will pay for it. I called and they said they were not going to pay for it and they said we will give you a conformation return number and thats it!!! I was soooo pissed off. I returned it after i had to pay $47.95! I now am on a different work out and i have only been on it a month and i have lost 12 pounds already!!!! The program i am on now its called Turbo Fire. The reason why this actually works is because you are actually working out sweating and burning fat! It is so amazing and i have tried all the workout programs under the sun and nothing compares to the turbo fire she even has music on the workout dvd's to get you amped up and keep pushing yourself it is works amazingly
 12. Thanks to all those who posted their reviews on this site. The TV ad was quite persuasive but I'll settle down and get on the floor, do some crunches and save a lot of money. Thanks again guys.
 13. In September, I purchased this for my husband. TODAY: I'm out the $244.36 (includes shipping and taxes), my Authorized Return" freight fee of $31.15 and the Ab-Doer Twist Machine. I tried the Ab-Doer Twist for three weeks and decided it was not for me since my back is flexible, I wanted to develop my abs. When I called for a "Return Authorization," Customer Service offered me a 50% discount NOT to return the machine. I declined the discount, preferring to return the machine. I have called three times to verify that my package arrived (my green USPS signature card verified receipt; unfortunately, it resides inside my stolen purse). I spoke to CS reps each verified the 50% offer but said my package has not be received. I spole with a Customer Service Manager to accept the 50% discount offer. He stated, "We can not honor the discount since we are now outside the time frame." (30-days from purchase but my "purchase-offer" was 60-days or money back). Later in our conversation he said, "We would never offer 50%, the most we would offer is 25%." Beware: Is it this company's policy is to deny all product returns so they can keep billing? An unethical but technically legal business strategy. Be sure to keep your USPS tracking number in a safe place. Hopefully this is my final infomercial purchase. Pros: If you lack "back flexibility" this could be good for you. Cons: The unethical but technically legal business policy.
 14. this equipment is rediculous just trying to make some money type of deal. very flimsy not sturdy at all like in the video, i did the beginner exercise and intermediate and the only thing that felt worked out was my arms because you have to hold that stupid bar thing up for twenty minutes. my stomach feels nothing, nothing to do with working your abs. DONT BUY IT.
 15. Cheap piece of hardware that feels flimsy, and provides little resistance to work out from. John Doer seems more interested in showing off his package than helping anyone get in shape. This product reminds me of something somebody makes while trying to start up a home based business. Him singing "Body Boogie" for no reason, and commenduing you over and over with "Beautiful Excercise was just laughable. In the end, having the menu screen cut him off in mid sentance at the end of the routine just shows how unprofessionaly this program was made.
 16. I have owned the abdoer twist for 1 month now, and i am pleased with the way it helps me get cardio workouts in because i am an amputee and standing up and dancing around or laying on the floor is nearly impossible..The only complaint i have is the main spring with the foam cover on it is really bad design..I broke the spring after only 4 hours of use, and they say its warranted for one year so i called them and they shipped me a new part for the price of $12.95..Now i know the part don't cost that much to ship, but i do understand they need to make a profit..So what i did was order the resistance rods because maybe i am to strong for the regular setup. To make a long story short i believe they know that the unit is gonna break down, because their accessorys they make are almost knowing that you will have to purchase them just to operate the darn think..Like the sponge cover on the main spring always rolls down after every workout, and the only way to keep that from happening would be to purchase the triple roller back message thing for $25.00, and to prevent the spring from breaking you need to purchase the tension rods for $25.00..oh also they do not replace anything unless you pay the shipping, im affraid to find out what it costs to ship the whole unit back because it does weigh atleast 30 pounds..Overall its not a bad piece of equipment, and they should not say in the video on t.v that the big guy weighed 401 pounds when he bought the abdoer twist because the weigh limit is only 300 pounds..Buy at your own risk, and buy all the accessories when purchasing.
 17. I bought it, and the additional workout DVD, did all of them and did not even break a sweat. I smoke and wasn't struggling. I sweat after 30 crunches on the floor. This thing is a joke. DO NOT BUY IT. WASTE OF MONEY. I am returning mine.
 18. Probablly the machine works. I don't know. I bought it as a request from my gransdson and 3 days later he cancelled his trip. I called back inmediatly to cancel the order, but it was already shipped. In true?.... who knows! I have had to wait for the arrival to call again. They don't refund in full, you have to pay for yourself the shipping back costs (carefull!...it is a heavy box), and they give you an authorization return code only if you are "elegible" for it. They decide that, if you are elegible or not. So, nothing like the advertisement says "30 days trial, money back guarantee" I am going to call to close the account I used to pay. I don't trust them... to many threats, instructions and retrictions for the return.
 19. Hi. I bought the Abdoer Twist, and I agree with you that it is more of an aerobic machine than an ab machine, because of the need to keep your arms lifted on the chair arms (the chair arms do not hold up your arms). But what reviews on the internet have failed to mention is the ridiculousness of the instructor on the DVD - a goofy guy named "John Abdo" who wears light-colored shorts that outline, shall we say, a huge body part that I just would rather not notice. That alone is enough for me to shove the equipment under the bed forever. Stupidly, I bought the additional elastic bands for $25.00, which attach to the chair. There were no instructions included, and it's now probably too late to return them. There is nothing on the original DVD pertaining to the elastic bands, and I wouldn't be surprised if this company tells me I have to buy a new $25.00 DVD for exercises with the elastic bands, also with the goofy instructor. The routines on the original DVD are done unprofessionally, and include "clones" of "John Abdo" in the beginners section. The intermediate and advanced sections have other people doing the routine along with "John", but the girl especially looks like she would rather be somewhere else, putting very little effort into any of the exercises.
