  1. Hi...I've always been over weight! Back on 2005 I lost 25lbs over the course of 5 months and kept it off for almost 4 years, but started trucking and gained all back. I saw this commercial of the latest zumba fitness and ordered it and as soon as I get it; my kids and I will have fun with it!
  2. I started doing Zumba about 2 weeks ago. I bought the total body thing on Amazon. Let me tell ya! I'm 19 years old, 5'5 and weighed 266. In the two weeks I'm down to 250.2!!! I do a 20minute "Flat Abs" Zumba workout, dance for 20-30 minutes with my little sister and try to watch what I eat and already in these 2 weeks I see results!!! My little sister is 8 and said to me yesterday "I'm going to Zumba with you everyday because you're looking skinnier!!!" That motivated me to the MAX! :D I would like to get down to at least 200 by July. And theres no doubt I can do it with Zumba!!! ZUMBA ON! :)

  6. I LOVE ZUMBA!!!! The music stays with you long after your workout. I find myself humming Beto's "Rat-ta-ta" over in my head. I have been doing it now for about 3 weeks or more; can't remember. What does that tell you? I do it at least 4-5x a week for an hour a day. I'm going to add another day. My fiance commented on how toned my arms are becoming. ZUMBA is taking off the subcutaneous fat layer exposing the muscle tone I've been trying to obtain for years. I will take a snapshot for my fitness portfolio Nov. 1. Stick with it! Do what you love and you'll never work out another day in your life. That saying also applies to your career. Do what you love and you'll never work another day in your life.   7. I love Zumba!!! I have been working out for 2 months and I have lost one pound a week. I just recently modified my diet so I know my results will get better. I have a lot of weight to lose but I am so excited to do Zumba everyday. I can't wait to buy the Zumba Exhilarate!!! It works it really does. The first week is the hardest but stick with it. It's worth it.
  8. I bought the Xbox Kinect in December 2010, and knew I wanted a fitness game to go with it. I love to dance, so I bought the Zumba Kinect in late January (even after reading the terrible reviews).Well, I LOVE IT! I started out doing the single routines for about 30 mins a day, 3 times a week. Then moved up to the 20 min workouts plus a couple single song routines, and now Im doing the intermediate 45 min workouts 4 times a week! It will definitely get your heart pumping! Ive never been to an actual zumba class since Im not a member at a local gym, but I can't imagine this game being any easier than an intermediate zumba class. I wore a heart rate monitor yesterday while I was doing my 45 min workout and I ended up burning 583 calories! I HATE running on my treadmill, but I love to dance...so this was perfect!! The moves are easy to learn and if you give it your all, I promise you will feel it and see results! I started this game weighing 184 and Im down to 176 in a month and a half! Was a size 14 and now fit very comfortably in a 12! My short-term goal is 150, and now that Im incorporating my zumba with a healthier diet, I hope to be there in just a few months! There may be a few things about the game that you may not like at first, but I promise...give it a week and you will be freaking hooked! Im also hoping to but Bertos Zumba fitness dvd set very soon to switch up with my kinect!

  10. You could be buying an illegal copy. I wouldn't recommend buying from 3rd party vendors except maybe Amazon.

  13. I have been doing Zumba for 5 weeks now and I LOVE IT!! I accompany my twice weekly Zumba class w/some cardio and a little strength training on at least 2 other days during the week. I also have changed my eating habits drastically! I have cut out sweets, minimized my starch intake, and drink TONS of water daily. I have lost 16 lbs in the 5 weeks just by following this plan! The thing that I love most about Zumba is that its fun, interactive, and I really work up a sweat which is what I love to do b/c it makes me feel sooo empowered and accomplished physically! Stick w/it ladies b/c its REALLY worth it! I'm thinking of getting the Zumba DVDs to do at home b/c I love Zumba soooo much and the 2 days a week aren't enough for me....I need more! LOL

  15. Hi, My question is that what its a good time to workout out with zumba if done daily or at least five days? I am just beginning and I ussually do zumba about 45 minutes to an hour but I do not know if that is enough, my goal is to loose 13 lbs.

  20. Customer service at zumba fitness is not helpful at all. They told me that my order didn't go through because of my credit card so I bought it with a different cc. Then they kept trying my original cc until it worked. So I got the charged twice and the product twice. I sent it back and got reimbursed but not for shipping and handling. I know it's only $13 but still, why should I pay for something that they did????? $13 from everyone is a lot of money! Just because of that no, I would never recommend zumba fitness to anyone!

  22. Started using the Zumba DVDs about a week ago and so far so good!No weight loss,still early days, but DVDs are fun to do and quite easy to pick up the moves.
  23. The best part about Zumba is that it's a workout in disguise. The music is fun and it seems like you're just grooving to it. The next thing you know you're sweating and the next day you're sore. But it's so much fun you go back for more!! I started instructing in January and have gotten tons of positive feedback. One student lost 2 dress sizes just in time for wedding all thanks to Zumba!! The difference between a class and the dvds will be the songs, the teacher's personality, and the teacher will probably change the workouts on you every few weeks. The dvds will be the same workouts over and over. Also, there's the idea of going to a gym, or staying home. Some people prefer one over the other.

  25. Zumba will work for any fitness level, especially of you love to dance! The 20-minute workout is enough to get started, moving, and keep motivated. Reminds me of the dances we used to do when we went to the nightclubs so it's a good motivator for me to keep going!
  26. I absolutely love Zumba. I began with the DVDs at home and over six months lost 22 pounds and now fit into a size 6 easily. I feel great and my confidence is way up. I am 27 and now am an instructor at my local gym for Zumba Fitness. My social and personal life has improved and I have to credit my higher self-esteem thanks to my reduce weight and clothes size. You can do it ladies!
