Who can do the P90X Plus Workout? The P90X Plus is highly recommended for those of you who are ready to take your workout to the next level. Remember, this extremely intense workout was designed for those of you who have completed the P90X fitness program and are ready to take on even more fitness challenges! This fitness program is not for those of you just starting out. Make sure you have truly completed the P90X before attempting the P90X Plus. As with any program, it is recommended that you check with your doctor before starting the P90X Plus workout.
Is the P90X Plus Workout truly an Effective Workout?Absolutely, the P90X Plus does exactly what it says. It takes your fitness and strength to the next level. It offers you a well rounded routine that targets your entire body. You will get five new workouts as part of the routine that are designed to target specific areas, such as cardio, muscles and abs/core.
How do the P90X Plus Routines Specifically Help You?There are five routines in the P90X Plus series. They provide more effective cardio by bringing your heart rate up and down with three different speeds, which provides the most dramatic change in the shortest time period. The advanced cardio also has new moves that will build stamina and balance.
The upper body, as well as your total body, will be exposed to extremely intense moves that will get your muscles pumped. Your abs/core will not be left out! Be prepared for the four different positions that are way more advanced leaving you with a stronger core. This is possible, even after completing the P90X.
The sets are longer, but the time is compressed. Tony Horton has a relaxing, yet motivating coaching style that will keep you going even when you feel like stopping.
The music is phenomenal. Anyone who works out understands the importance of good music in a workout program. The music could be what motivates you to keep going on that last bit of reps. Jason Scheff, lead singer of the band Chicago, has designed the music to do just that, help you along when you start getting tired.
RecommendationThe P90X Plus is highly recommended for any P90X fitness fanatics that are ready to go to the next level. The moves and cardio are more intense, offering you more challenges. You will be surprised at what your body can be transformed into.
The bonuses you can receive are very helpful. You can receive a fitness guide that helps you incorporate the new P90X Plus workout into your P90X training program. Also, the online community is a huge help in keeping you motivated.
Important – Remember, this fitness program is not for the beginner. It is imperative that you have completed the P90X first to be sure your body is ready to handle the intensity of this excellent fitness program.

1. P90Xplus - is it worth it? Written by fightFATblogger , on 02-11-2009 19:42 I have done p90x and loved it but I have heard that the p90x plus is not the same. I read that Tony Horton doesn't seem as motivated in it. I think one of the keys to P90x is that Tony motivates you to finish. Any truth to this? |
