No More Trouble Zones by Jillian Michaels : A Review

Not for the faint of heart

The No More Trouble Zones Workout that is being advocated by Jillian Michaels here is most definitely not a workout for the faint of heart.  This is a workout that will give you results, but it is one that will make you work long and hard in order to get them.  Take a look at what Jillian does to the people on her television show and you’ll have some idea of what she expects people to do in order to lose lots of weight fast.  If you want an easy workout, it is guaranteed that this is not it.

That being said, this workout can be done by anyone that is willing to work hard.  You don’t need to be in your 20s and overweight to be able to push hard at getting this to work.  This is a workout that will be appropriate for people in their 30s, 40s and even 50s if they are willing to go into it with the mindset of effort and exertion.  Women with babies that are trying to work off the pregnancy weight can lose weight from those sensitive areas with this workout and men with love handle problems can do the exact same thing.

Seven circuits to success

The no more trouble zones workout advocated by Jillian Michaels in this program is actually a collection of seven different workout circuits, each of which will work a different part of your body.  It starts with workouts for your shoulders and legs, continues to your chest and abs and so on until the lower core body circuit at number seven which ends things off.  Each circuit is about six minutes long and once you’ve completed all seven there will be no muscle in your body that has gone without being worked.

In the end, this is exactly what you need to do in order to eliminate problem areas.  Things like wobbly arms, muffin tops and saddlebags exist on people’s bodies specifically because those areas of the body typically are not worked long and are not worked hard.  Those are the areas leftover from the harder workouts that take care of the major areas of the body.  Jillian Michaels will allow you to make sure that those muscles do get worked and therein lays the secret to success with this program.

Conclusion

Even though it is not easy, this program is definitely effective.  People that start it and stick to it lose a lot of weight.  They don’t lose the weight they would lose on “The Biggest Loser”, but the results are significant nonetheless.  This is the “no pain no gain” ethic of working out, but it does give you results in the end if you’re willing to endure the pain at the beginning.

  1. Tlynn, the "30 Day Shred" dvd will get you to gradually adopt to her exercise routine. It has good results too.
  2. I have this workout dvd and it is as good as the article says it is. Just sitck to it, it was hard at first but it gets better if you don't give up.
  3. Does she have any videos for those who can't work as strenuously as the videos she has out now? Now everyone can push like that.
