The Premise
There are two systems included in this particular exercise routine. The first is one that focuses on fundamentals, allowing you to use the weights to push through stretching exercises in your muscles that will make them leaner and meaner. There are many other programs out there that require a heavier commitment for what appear to be the same results, so this can certainly be put on this program as being one of its main advantages.Another advantage to this program is that Kathy Smith has included a workout that you can do without weights. Even though this program bills itself as being a program that uses weights, there is an exercise workout in here that you can do with a stability ball instead. This allows for a fair amount of variety in the workouts that you do. Variety is something that can only be good over the long run provided that the workouts are effective. All of the evidence suggests that the workouts in this DVD set are indeed effective.
Things We Don't Like
The program advertisements like to say that this is a program that is available to people of all ages and skill levels. This is not entirely true. The fact of the matter is that Kathy Smith’s program is relatively physically intensive. This means that senior citizens trying the program out might get to a point where they find out that even the most basic of the exercises might be physically trying for them. There is no question that the program will work for people that can get through it entirely, but it is important to point out that not everyone will have that particular ability.Final Thoughts
The majority of people that try this program out will find that it is a program that suits their needs. Most of the people that are actually willing to go from start to finish in this program will get the results that they want. However, this is something that can be said about most programs out there. The question that is more important has to do with the likelihood of completion. People that are absolute beginners might want to look elsewhere on that point because completion is something that might be difficult to do.|
