The Jillian Michaels 6 Weeks Six-Pack is available for immediate download and on DVD.  No matter which option you choose, you will receive Michaels’ full program, which includes:

  • Two thirty minute workouts
  • Warm-ups
  • Cool downs

The workouts come in two levels.  People should do level one for three weeks and then level two for the remaining three weeks. The workouts focus on the core and abs, and help people burn away fat and chisel their abdominal area.  Additionally, the exercises work the arms, shoulders, chest and back.

Equipment for the Program

Along with the DVD, you will need some equipment to ensure you do the exercises properly. You will need:

  • Hand weights (3, 5 or 8 pounds) - Weights are required for some of the exercises.
  • A mat - While a mat is not required, you need one if you are going to work out on hard surfaces.  A mat will protect your joints, which is incredibly important when you enter into an exercise routine.

In addition, you need to make sure you have ample space to do the exercises.  These exercises are very physical and require a lot of movement.  Clear several feet in every direction before you begin doing the exercises.  Otherwise, you could bump into something and get injured during the routine.

Those who follow the plan can expect to see results quickly.  While the biggest changes will occur in the abs, people will also notice changes in their arms, shoulders, chest and back.  The level of results will depend on the shape of the person prior to starting the program. For instance, someone who is thin and in good shape might be able to achieve a six pack in six weeks. However, someone who is overweight may have to stick with the program for longer in order to achieve a six pack since they will need to shed those extra pounds first. However, they can still notice a difference in their abs, arms, shoulders, chest and back after six weeks.
