The people that have created the system argue that crunchless ab approaches are actually better than conventional crunch exercises as recent research seems to suggest. The idea of a new exercise system exaggerating the research in order to bolster their claims is not a new idea and one that has been going on for a long time in the online circles where new exercise programs are born and eventually collapse by the hundreds. The crunchless abs program is a bit different however because there are journals in peer-reviewed articles that seem to corroborate the information that they have placed on their website.Specifically, their claim about the 15% figure is corroborated in the academic community. According to the most recent understanding about how the abdominal cavity functions, it seems that there are about 12 different muscles that are absolutely essential to keeping the abs tight and firm . These 12 muscles form a group commonly referred to as the “core muscle group” and the main problem with crunches from the point of view of the core muscle group is that they only work 2 of those 12 muscles effectively.
The exercises that have been designed for use with the crunchless ab program however, are exercises that work all 12 of those core muscles. For this reason, the argument made by the program’s creator regarding higher effectiveness is an argument that does seem to hold some water under harsher scrutiny.
Potential Exaggerations
The crunchless ab people have passed the initial test of their seriousness which is the test of how factual their claims are. It has been established through independent research that their claims regarding crunches are correct and that their own exercises do work the 12 core muscles and for that reason one can expect to see results by performing the exercises that are contained within the workout guide. That having been said, there are still some exaggerations regarding this program that could potentially derail what is otherwise a very good thing.The most obvious of these potential exaggerations has to do with the idea of being able to get rock hard six pack abs through a workout consisting of exercises done for 10 minutes a day. It is certainly true that you can probably expect to see some results with this type of a workout, but it is highly unlikely that you will get the extreme results that six pack abs represent without putting in a lot more time and effort into your abdominal workouts.
The creators of the program argue that 10 minutes are all that are needed because the crunchless ab workout has exercises that work all 12 muscle groups instead of just the 2 affected by crunches. It is important to realize however that even though this is true, you still need to intensely work your muscles for a prolonged period of time if you want to see six pack abs. For this reason, the claim of 10 minutes a day in association with the idea of perfect ab muscles is an exaggeration verging on misleading. The good news though is that you can redo the workout as many times as you want each day, increasing the intensity and therefore getting better results because of your own initiative.
Highlights
There are many highlights of crunchless abs that deserve to be mentioned here, but in the interests of brevity the most important one will be mentioned here. The most important of these highlights has to be the fact that crunchless ab exercises are not all done on the floor. For some of them you are standing up and this allows for a variety that people doing strictly abdominal exercises do not often experience. Variety in exercise is one of the little mental aspects of exercise that can make it easier to take and that is why this type of variation is worth highlighting about the crunchless abs workout.Final Thoughts
When one is impartially attempting to evaluate the crunchless abs mechanism, it is important to comment on both the excellence of the program’s substance as well as the method in which it is sold to the public.On the first aspect of things, the program passes with flying colors.
