Ice Cube Diet Reviews

The Ice Cube Diet does not simply contain water.  It is an ice cube that contains a high potency of 100% pure Hoodia Gordonii, a medicinal desert plant.  This has been certified by botanical experts.  Generally, Hoodia is dried, ground, and put into capsule form, which can devalue the potency of the plant.  The company claims the ice cube form is two times as potent as the pill form.  Continue reading our ice cube diet reviews to learn more.

The Ice Cube Diet – How it Works

Hoodia Gordonii is supposed to be a natural appetite suppressant.  It is supposed to send false signals to your brain, tricking it into thinking you are full.  This means you will eat less, which means you will likely have less fat to absorb.  While this is the basis for all Hoodia Gordonii based products, most of these products do not seem to follow through with their claims of being an appetite suppressant.

The Ice Cube Diet - Pros

  • It has high potency due to being frozen fresh within 24 hours from harvest, which freezes the active ingredient.
  • Studies show 80% of 111 women lost significant weight.
  • Each cube contains 3,000mg of fresh frozen Hoodia as opposed to 250mg to 1,000mg in the pill form.
  • People seem to enjoy the taste, although it was different.  It contains 5% lemon juice to make it taste better.
  • It is easy to incorporate into the day.  All you have to do is take it when you are experiencing a craving.  You only have to take one per day, according to the recommendation by the company.
  • The ice cubes can give you a lot more energy.
  • For some people, it did not seem to suppress the appetite; however, for some it did for only about 2 to 3 hours.  This basically helps you skip a snack until dinner.  However, snacks are not always a bad thing, if you eat in moderation and healthy.
  • It is not as effective at suppressing your appetite as other Hoodia supplements.  According to the manufacturer, the ice cubes should work better because they are in their purest form; however, those who have actually tried the product and compared feel that they are not much different, as far as appetite goes.

The Ice Cube Diet - Cons

  • For some people, it did not seem to suppress the appetite; however, for some it did for only about 2 to 3 hours.  This basically helps you skip a snack until dinner.  However, snacks are not always a bad thing, if you eat in moderation and healthy.
  • It is not as effective at suppressing your appetite as other Hoodia supplements.  According to the manufacturer, the ice cubes should work better because they are in their purest form; however, those who have actually tried the product and compared feel that they are not much different, as far as appetite goes.

Bottom Line

The diet cubes have a decent taste, which makes them easier to add them to your diet plan; however, they are not as effective as other forms of diet supplements at suppressing your appetite.  They do seem to give you more energy, which can help give your metabolism a jump start and this can help aide in your weight loss goals.

Some people only need that little bit of help to ward off those high calorie snacks.  This could be a good way to do this.  While $64.95 may appear to be a little high for a 40 day supply, when broken down it averages to about $1.62 per day.  This would likely be less expensive than an energy bar or high calorie snack that you would likely buy for yourself anyways as long as you stick to eating only one ice cube per day.  Therefore, if you are someone who just needs a little help skipping that mid-day snack, than it may be worth it to you to go ahead and give it a try.

However, if you are looking for something to truly help you curb your cravings beyond one snack a day, the Ice Cube Diet is likely not worth your time or money.
