Green Tea 300 For Quick Weight Loss

Introduction

Green tea as an ingredient has been celebrated quite a bit in recent years as the research coming out of the scientific community has shown it to be one of the most reliable weight loss ingredients around.  For a number of different reasons, steady diets including healthy portions of green tea on a daily basis have been linked with high levels of success in achieving sustainable and long term weight loss goals.  For that reason, products like Green Tea 300 have come onto the market and we are studying the patch version here.

How it Works

Green Tea 300 has multiple versions, but the one being discussed here is the patch version.  The Green Tea 300 patch actually works in a way that is very similar to the nicotine patches that people use in an effort to help them quit smoking.

Simply put, you apply the patch to an area of your skin and then replace the patch every 24 hours.  The green tea is then released into your system through diffusion (i.e. absorption through the skin) at a gradual rate.  The rate is constant and works over the course of the entire 24 hour period that you have the patch on and then rejuvenates the next day when you replace the patch with a new one.  The 300 label is there because the dosage is 300 mg, an amount that is present in each patch and taken over the course of the 24 hour period discussed above.

Results

As previously mentioned, green tea is arguably the only ingredient in weight loss that is beyond reproach.  The reason it is beyond reproach is because of the plethora of evidence that exists in scientific peer-reviewed journals that support its effect on weight loss. Since green tea, like most tea, contains caffeine, good weight loss results are to be expected.  Caffeine and ephedrine are easily the two most reliable weight loss ingredients in the entire arsenal of anti-weight ingredients available and green tea essentially takes the reliability of caffeine as a weight loss ingredient and adds to it.

There are a couple of points to make regarding the studies that support green tea however and the most important one is a matter of dosage.  In order to be effective, the vast majority of the studies done on green tea found that 300 mg is the minimum amount that must be taken on a daily basis.  This means that the amount you get from a single patch of this product is adequate to experience the optimal gains from green tea.  This is not true for all green tea supplements however, so if you are ever purchasing a product because of its green tea content, make sure that you check to see that you can get at least 300 mg of green tea from a daily dose of it.

Final Thoughts

Every weight loss enthusiast loves green tea because of its excellence and proven track record of results.  It does contain caffeine however, so be aware of that when you are purchasing the product.
