FullBar Diet Reviews
Last Updated ( Tuesday, 09 June 2009 )

Introduction

The FullBar concept was developed by Michael Snyder.  Anyone that has had experience with weight loss surgery before will likely recognize that name very quickly, as Snyder is a very famous bariatric surgeon that is known for a number of talented procedures done under that particular banner.  According to Snyder, the FullBar is designed to do the exact same thing as the weight loss surgery and in the process help you lose excess fat from your body in a way that is both healthy and non-invasive.  At first glance it might seem too good to be true, but the Full Bar is backed up by both science and more importantly, results. How does the Fullbar Diet Work?

Explaining exactly how FullBars are supposed to work is very similar to explaining how something like lap band surgery is supposed to work, so if you already know the principles behind that surgical procedure then chances are very good that you know generally how Full Bars are supposed to work before this discussion has even begun.

For everyone else, the best way to describe a FullBar is to say that the main goal of the FullBar is to make you feel full.  It is loaded with a number of different ingredients that have been scientifically shown to improve satiety (i.e. the full feeling that you get in your stomach after eating a hearty meal).  The main difference between the FullBar Diet and something like lap band surgery is that while the former aims to give you that feeling by constricting the volume of the stomach, the latter aims to give you that feeling by filling the volume with foods that will not adversely affect your fitness level through consumption.  A Full Bars Diet would therefore aim to keep you full through most of the day so that you do not eat as much as you otherwise might.

Advantages of the FullBar Diet

With the FullBars Diet, the main advantage would have to be the fact that it is a non-invasive way of getting that full feeling.  There are many people that turn to lap band and gastric bypass surgery out of sheer desperation and having already tried many of the other methods for weight loss and the existence of something like the FullBar could conceivably help these people experience some fitness gains in a way that is not invasive.  This is not to suggest that gastric bypass and lap band surgeries are more dangerous than helpful, but rather it is to emphasize the general principle that if you can at all avoid invasive surgery, you should usually do it.  The FullBar Diet seems to provide a plausible alternative to invasive surgery and that is certainly a good thing for most.

Another pro of the FullBar product is that it actually tastes good.  One of the interesting things about many of these diet and nutrition bars is the fact that many of them taste awful.  The company vouching for their taste doesn’t really mean anything, because all companies defend their products.  With so many people trying them out and liking them however, it appears as though the FullBar has a taste that is conventional enough to appeal to a number of people.  That is relatively rare in a nutritional bar and it is certainly something that is appreciated by anyone that tries the bar out.

Finally, one last thing worth mentioning about the FullBar is that it is backed up by a company that is ready and willing to give you your money back should you have complaints about the bar.  This says a lot about business integrity, as many of the online weight loss companies that are peddling products will promise you your money back, but always try to drag their heels.  Not so with these guys.

Disadvantages of the FullBar Diet

The main drawback with the FullBars Diet is likely the carbohydrate and caloric content.  There are about 30 grams of carbohydrates in a single FullBar and furthermore there are around 180 calories in the same bar, around of 20 of which are provided by fat molecules.  It is impossible to make a person feel full without including some of these materials in a nutritional bar and for that reason there is always going to be some trade-off involved in this particular approach to weight loss.  At the end of the day, you just need to weigh the contents of this bar against how much you feel a feeling of satiety will help you lose weight.  Like so many things within the weight loss realm, it is going to be a personal decision that you need to make on your own.

The FullBar is not supposed to be a bar that you use to replace meals.  There are many people that have mistakenly used the bar in that context and these people have not experienced the proper gains from the bar that they otherwise might have had they used the bar according to the provided instructions.  The FullBar is supposed to be used as a snack that prevents you from eating more snacks, while the meals that you eat should be according to a diet that fits well with your use of the FullBars.  This is what the instructions say.  If you are looking for a meal replacement, you should look elsewhere because that is not what the FullBar is supposed to do.

Final Thoughts

As mentioned above, your use of the FullBar is really a personal decision.  Nobody knows your personal weight loss decision better than you do and for that reason you are the most qualified to determine what may or may not help you in attaining your weight loss goals.  For this reason, reviews like this can and do provide you with useful facts about the FullBar that you can use to make the decision, but in the end only you have the power to make that decision.  Look at the methods, the good points and the bad and then decide for yourself whether this particular product is the right one for you.
